Job summary
Works with Board of Directors and Conference Planning Committee to plan, coordinate, and execute all networking events for WHPRMS.
Duties
Works with Treasurer to create a networking budget
Coordinates dates with Board of Directors to decide when to schedule events
Coordinates with Board of Directors to determine best geographic locations for events
Coordinates with approved locations on activities, food, and entertainment
Works with Social Media and Website Representatives to manages pre-promotion of networking events
Attends all networking events and serves as WHPRMS representative
Coordinates with Treasurer to make sure all event expenses are paid
Works with Conference Planning Committee to decide on networking events at the annual conference
Revises planning materials and presents to the new networking chair
Efficiently utilizes available resources, seeking board approval for any unbudgeted activities/expenditures
Performs other related duties as requested by the president
Attends at least four board of director meetings/phone conferences annually, either in-person or via phone. Special exceptions will be made upon approval by the president
